The former freight-only branch from Northallerton to Redmire is now run by a PLC and has initially restored passenger services over the 17 miles between Leeming Bar and Redmire. There are plans to restore passenger services between Leeming Bar and Northallerton, and ultimately to relay the missing link from Redmire to Garsdale on the Settle & Carlisle line. |
